About Accolgo

We built Accolgo so that good hires stay.

Here is who is behind it, and why.

Why it exists

I built this after watching good hires quietly walk, from businesses that had done everything right on paper.

I’m Dermot Dennehy, Chief Executive, Accolgo. Accolgo is built by the Clickonic Group. I’ve spent years helping organisations turn culture, leadership and service into the things that genuinely move a business. Across that work I kept seeing the same pattern: everything about the hire looked right, and the person still handed in their notice a few months later. Nobody saw it coming because nobody was actually watching the window where it happens.

Accolgo exists because that window, the first six months, is where it’s decided, and almost no one has a way to see it while there’s still time to do something about it.

The first six months matter just as much for someone who moves to a new role inside your organisation, so you can add them as a starter in the same way.

What we believe

We are not onboarding software that checks the paperwork. We listen to the person.

Onboarding software is good at tracking whether the contract is signed and the forms are done. It cannot tell you whether the new starter is still glad they said yes. Accolgo asks them.

  • Line managers keep people, not software.

Our job is to help a line manager have the right conversation at the right time. We will never try to replace that conversation.

Check-ins arrive by email, and a line manager or buddy without a work inbox will soon be able to get theirs by WhatsApp instead.
